For those of you who have been following my journey with rescue hens over the years you will have noticed numbers have increased!!!

So 35 feathery souls in residence, 31 Ladies and 4 Gents

Many have issues unique to them but many of the ladies have reproductive issues so commonly encountered amongst rescue hens, especially those who are making the most of life and living longer and longer. Hormone therapies, surgery, pain relief and antibiotics are all required frequently and vetHENary care can be costly. Having a good balance in the vet account offers a safety net for all those under my care. I will cover the cost of the revolving door at our vets ;)

So fundraising raffles are a vital way to raise these funds but also offer a big thank you to all our wonderful followers and supporters and a bit of fun too. I am all about supporting physical health with holistic therapies so some of these prizes are certainly hitting the mark!  And the first prize is amazing, a night in a luxurious apartment in London, St John's Wood.

The Autumn Raffle offers some amazing prizes and whilst some of the prizes are located in Bristol, UK others are nationwide or can be posted. However most prizes really are restricted to the UK for logistical reasons.
